Terms and Conditions

Last updated

Document language

Recompensated legal documents are published only in Romanian and English. The general language selected for the site does not change this rule.

Contents

1. Scope, acceptance, and contract documents

These Terms and Conditions form the contract between the user and Recompensated S.R.L. for access to and use of recompensated.com, including account creation, earning opportunities, accumulating and using points, promotions, referrals, orders, and withdrawals.

By creating an account, selecting the acceptance checkbox, or continuing to use the platform after the terms have been made available to you, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted them. The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Affiliate Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and rules displayed for a feature or promotion form part of the applicable contractual framework.

If a special rule published for an offer, reward, or promotion conflicts with these terms, the special rule prevails only for that specific subject. Mandatory law always prevails.

2. Platform operator

The platform is operated by Recompensated S.R.L., a limited liability company incorporated under Romanian law, with registered office at Bd. Dinicu Golescu no. 7, ground floor, apt. SP. COM. 3, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, share capital RON 600, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2026046278001, sole registration code (CUI) 55294515. The company is not currently registered for VAT.

The contact address is support@recompensated.com. For an account, offer, withdrawal, or enforcement issue, the recommended contact route is the ticket system available on the platform.

3. Key definitions

  • "Platform" means the Recompensated website, user account, and features made available by the operator.
  • "User" means the individual who owns a Recompensated account.
  • "Partner" or "provider" means an advertiser, offerwall, survey provider, cashback merchant, affiliate network, rewarded-content provider, reward processor, or other involved third party.
  • "Eligible activity" means a genuine action completed in full and in accordance with the displayed rules, which is tracked and validated by the relevant systems.
  • "Points" means the platform internal accounting units, usable only through the redemption options currently made available.
  • "Reward" means points, a promotional benefit, a withdrawal, a digital product, or an item requested through the use of points.

4. Eligibility and minimum age

You may use the platform only if you are at least 18 years old, can validly enter into this contract, and use of the service is permitted in the country where you are located. You may not use the service on behalf of a minor or another person who does not meet the eligibility requirements.

Certain offers, payout methods, rewards, or features may have additional country, identity, residence, device, or provider-account requirements. These requirements are determined by law, by the partner, or by the nature of the reward and must be followed.

5. Account information and security

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information and keep your login details confidential. You may not sell, transfer, lend, or share the account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you inform us of unauthorised access.

You must notify us without delay if you suspect that your account, password, two-factor authentication, or a payout destination has been compromised. We may temporarily block sensitive actions to protect the account and balance while the issue is reviewed.

6. One person, one account

Each person may create, control, and use only one account, unless Recompensated gives express written approval. Creating or controlling additional accounts is prohibited, including through other email addresses, identities, devices, browser profiles, networks, payout destinations, or intermediaries.

Technical or financial links between accounts do not by themselves prove a breach, but they may lead to checks. If a review confirms duplicate accounts, self-referrals, false identities, repeated exploitation of the same opportunity, or fraudulent coordination, we may combine the investigations, reverse improperly obtained benefits, and restrict or close the involved accounts.

7. Service model and the role of partners

Recompensated operates the platform and facilitates access to several types of earning opportunities. A significant part of the offers, surveys, videos, cashback campaigns, and other activities is provided and validated by third-party partners rather than created directly by Recompensated.

When you select an opportunity, the partner terms, eligibility criteria, and privacy policy may also apply. The partner may decide whether the activity meets its commercial and technical requirements. Recompensated administers platform crediting on the basis of valid data received, its own records, and reasonable checks.

We do not guarantee the continued availability of a particular partner, offer, or reward level. Opportunities may be limited by country, profile, campaign budget, capacity, promotion period, or partner criteria.

8. Displayed value, Recompensated revenue, and commercial margin

For third-party activities, the partner may pay Recompensated a fee, commission, or other commercial remuneration. The user is shown the points reward associated with eligible activity. The gross remuneration paid by the partner to Recompensated is commercial revenue of the operator and is not money, points, or property held on behalf of the user.

The difference between remuneration received or estimated from the partner and the reward granted to the user is Recompensated commercial margin. The margin covers, among other things, platform operations, payout and support costs, reversal and fraud risk, foreign-exchange differences, taxes, promotions, and profit. The user does not acquire a right to a fixed percentage of the partner gross payment or to disclosure of confidential commercial terms, except for information expressly required by law.

Reward value and margin may vary between partners, campaigns, countries, periods, and activity volumes. Recompensated may negotiate improved terms and increase the share granted to users, including on the basis of volume, without creating a right to the same value for other offers or periods.

Any change to an offer value applies prospectively. For an activity already started and correctly tracked, we use the value verifiably associated with the activity or the value validly transmitted by the partner, subject to correction of obvious errors, campaign rules, validation, and the reversals described below.

The value relevant to the user is the points value displayed or associated with the eligible activity, not the gross amount negotiated between Recompensated and the partner.

9. Requirements for eligible activity

To receive a reward, you must follow the displayed instructions, meet every offer criterion, use genuine information, complete the activity within the permitted period, and allow the technical mechanisms needed to attribute completion to your account.

Activity may be ineligible if, for example, you previously used the product, do not fall within the campaign audience, changed device or country, tracking was interrupted, cancelled the order, returned the product, failed a quality check, or the partner did not accept the conversion.

Screenshots and confirmations supplied by a user may assist an investigation, but they do not automatically replace valid partner records and do not guarantee credit.

10. Tracking, validation, and reward statuses

Crediting depends on tracking identifiers, postbacks, partner reports, and our own checks. An activity may therefore remain pending until final confirmation.

  • "Pending" means that the activity or request is still being checked and does not represent a final payment obligation.
  • "Approved" means that current checks have passed, without excluding a later justified reversal for a chargeback, fraud, duplication, or obvious error.
  • "Rejected" means that the partner did not validate the activity or it did not pass the applicable checks.
  • "Cancelled" or "reversed" means that a previous credit was withdrawn for a reason stated in these terms.
  • "Expired" means that the period for completing or claiming the activity or reward has ended.

11. Corrections, reversals, and negative balances

We may correct or reverse points and rewards where there is reasonable evidence of a partner cancellation or non-payment, return, chargeback, duplicate credit, fraud, abuse, breach of offer requirements, technical error, calculation error, or another clearly undue credit.

A reversal will normally follow the affected activity and associated value. If the points have already been used, the correction may create a negative balance and future credits may be applied against it. We will not arbitrarily reverse valid earnings merely to change the commercial margin retroactively.

You may request an explanation and review through support. We may request reasonable verification information and consult the partner before resolving the matter.

12. Nature and use of points

Points are internal contractual units, not bank deposits, electronic money, crypto-assets, securities, or funds held in a payment account. They do not accrue interest, are not transferable between users, and may not be sold or traded outside authorised features.

Points may be used only for rewards and features available at the time of the request, after meeting displayed thresholds, checks, and conditions. Conversion value, costs, availability, and options may be changed prospectively for commercial, cost, risk, foreign-exchange, provider, or legal reasons, with appropriate information on the platform.

13. Withdrawals and reward delivery

A withdrawal request is not final when submitted. It is subject to the available balance, displayed threshold and rules, email verification and two-factor authentication where required, earning eligibility, fraud review, provider availability, and valid delivery details.

The user must carefully check the wallet address, payout email, country, gift-card brand, Steam trade URL, and other information. To the extent permitted by law, Recompensated is not responsible for irreversible delivery to an incorrect destination provided by the user.

We may request additional documents or information where this is proportionate and necessary for identity, security, fraud prevention, provider requirements, or legal compliance. Failure to supply necessary information may prevent the request from being processed.

14. Gift cards, digital rewards, and CS2 skins

Availability, currency, region, expiry, and conditions of gift cards or other digital rewards are also set by the issuer. The user must check the displayed restrictions before ordering.

CS2 skins are purchased with points from a curated catalogue and delivered to the Steam trade URL supplied by the user. Prices may reflect market quotations, provider costs, and discounts and may change before an order. The server recalculates the price when the order is placed. Orders are subject to availability, verification, and the provider or Steam trading process.

Recompensated is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike 2, Steam, and related marks belong to their respective owners.

15. Bonuses, missions, leaderboards, and referrals

Daily bonuses, streaks, missions, achievements, promotional codes, events, leaderboards, and other engagement features are governed by the rules displayed for each system. We may limit the number of claims, period, eligibility, and promotion pool.

Referral commission is granted only for valid eligible activity by referred users, under the level and rate displayed in the referrals area. A reversal of the underlying activity may result in a proportionate reversal of referral commission. The Affiliate Policy contains the complete promotion rules.

16. Prohibited activity

Any illegal, fraudulent, automated, misleading, or manipulative use designed to obtain a reward without genuine eligible activity is prohibited. This includes multiple accounts, self-referrals, false identities, bots, scripts, emulators, device farms, location or device spoofing, VPN or proxy use for circumvention, tracking manipulation, exploitation of errors, false conversions, spam, abusive chargebacks, and unauthorised access.

The Acceptable Use Policy describes prohibited conduct in detail and forms part of these terms.

17. Checks, holds, and cooperation

To protect users, partners, and the platform, we may review activity, correlate account, device, IP, referral, and payout data, request partner confirmation, and temporarily hold points, orders, or withdrawals.

The measure must relate to a reasonable risk or indicator and last only as long as reasonably needed for checks, a partner response, or a legal obligation. The user must cooperate with proportionate requests and must not attempt to bypass the restriction.

18. Account suspension, restriction, and termination

We may warn, restrict a feature, temporarily suspend, or close an account where there is a breach of these terms, a security risk, reasonable suspicion of fraud or abuse, false information, failure to cooperate with a necessary check, a partner requirement, a legal obligation, or a need to protect the platform or other people.

We may act without prior notice where delay would allow continuing fraud, loss of funds, compromised security, destruction of evidence, harm to others, or a breach of law. In other circumstances, we will use reasonable notice and, where appropriate, an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Where law and investigation security permit, we communicate the main reason for the measure. You may appeal through the support system and provide explanations or evidence. The appeal will be reviewed by a person who can uphold, vary, or lift the measure.

Closure for a breach does not turn unvalidated, fraudulent, or reversed points into a payment debt. Remaining valid points will be handled in accordance with law, these terms, unresolved risks, and the technical and legal ability to deliver.

19. Voluntary closure and inactive accounts

You may stop using the service and request account closure from the Privacy and Data area. You should resolve eligible requests and balances before closure. After the grace period, the account is anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

If we introduce rules affecting points in long-inactive accounts, the inactivity period, consequence, method of avoidance, and applicable rule will be displayed clearly before enforcement and will respect mandatory consumer rights.

20. Changes to the platform and these terms

We may add, change, suspend, or withdraw features for reasons such as security, law, partner requirements, cost, fraud risk, performance, or commercial strategy. Urgent security or legal changes and changes imposed by a partner may take effect immediately.

For significant contractual changes that are not urgent, we will publish the updated version and use reasonable notice on the platform or by email before it applies. Changes apply prospectively and do not justify arbitrary reversal of rewards that have already been validated.

If you do not accept a significant change, you may stop using the service and request account closure before it takes effect. Continued use after the stated date constitutes acceptance of the updated version to the extent permitted by law.

21. Availability, maintenance, and external events

We use reasonable efforts to operate the platform, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, errors, attacks, internet services, providers, payout systems, legal change, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, permanent availability of an offer, or a particular level of earnings. We will try to correct relevant errors within a reasonable period.

22. Intellectual property and licence

The platform, software, design, text, databases, graphics, and Recompensated brand belong to the operator or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence for lawful use of the platform.

You may not copy, republish, sell, systematically extract, scrape, modify, decompile, bypass technical measures, or create derivative works, except where a mandatory law permits the activity.

Third-party materials stay the property of their owners and are used under their own licence terms. This product includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from https://www.maxmind.com. Country flag images are provided by flagcdn.com.

23. Third-party content and services

Third-party links, offerwalls, surveys, shops, applications, payout methods, and content are controlled by their providers. Recompensated does not fully control their availability, content, security, or practices and does not automatically endorse every third-party statement.

You must read the provider terms and privacy policy before submitting data or making a purchase. You may report a suspicious partner or item to us through support.

24. Taxes and user obligations

You are responsible for checking whether rewards create reporting or payment obligations in your jurisdiction. Recompensated may report information or withhold amounts only where required by law. We do not provide tax advice.

25. Liability

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing reduces mandatory consumer rights.

Within the limits permitted by law, Recompensated is not liable for indirect, unforeseeable, or consequential loss, loss caused by incorrect payout details supplied by the user, third-party decisions or unavailability, ineligible activity, tracking interrupted beyond our reasonable control, or unauthorised use that the user did not promptly report.

For users acting for professional or commercial purposes, total Recompensated liability for an event is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount of valid rewards directly affected by the event. This limit does not apply to a consumer where it would breach mandatory law.

26. Indemnity for unlawful conduct

If you use the platform for professional or commercial purposes, you will indemnify Recompensated for direct loss, costs, and third-party claims caused by your intentional or grossly negligent breach of these terms, fraud, infringement of third-party rights, or illegal use. For consumers, this obligation applies only to the extent and under the conditions permitted by law and does not cover loss attributable to Recompensated.

27. Consumer rights and withdrawal rights

If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights under Romanian and European Union law. These terms do not exclude warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent that a statutory right of withdrawal applies to a feature or order, you will receive the information and options required by law. For services or digital content supplied immediately at your request, the right may be lost only after the legal conditions are met, including express consent or acknowledgement where required. Cancellation or refund of a skin or reward order also follows the rules displayed for the order status, without limiting statutory rights.

28. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution

For an operational issue, first open a ticket and include the relevant identifiers without publishing passwords, 2FA codes, or other secrets. We will review the complaint and may request additional information or a partner response.

Consumers may complain to the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection at www.anpc.ro and consult the alternative dispute resolution procedure at https://anpc.ro/sal/ or https://reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. Personal-data complaints are handled under the Privacy Policy.

29. Governing law and competent courts

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the choice of Romanian law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules applicable under private international law.

The parties will first try to resolve disputes amicably. Disputes are decided by courts with jurisdiction under applicable law. Any reference to the courts of Bucharest applies only where a choice of jurisdiction is valid and does not remove a mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings before another competent court.

30. Final provisions

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect and the affected provision applies to the maximum extent allowed by law. A delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of that right.

You may not assign your account or rights without our consent. Recompensated may transfer the contract as part of a reorganisation, sale, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law and required notice.

31. Document language

These terms are published only in Romanian and English. The versions are intended to have the same meaning. If there is a translation discrepancy, the Romanian version prevails to the extent permitted by law, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
